The language is understandable and informative, consisting of quotes from various artists and statistics that can educate those who are heedless to music piracy and file-sharing in the UK. However after a while, I realised there seems to not be a target audience but I'm wondering if your blog is aimed at those who listen to rock music (from the singers you have chosen). Additionally there is a lack of colour which makes the article boring and not eye-catching, so less people would want to read it and the structure of the text can be confusing and possibly difficult to spot what to read next. Furthermore, the structure of your own magazine is not like many other magazine covers, as if you have scattered the information around the page. However by the font being different and bold with the artist's quotes makes the quotes stand out. Additionally adding images of the artist brings colour to the page and catches the audience's' eye. By getting a quote from Thom Yorke with explicit language really shows us the passion and angst he holds for the subject. It also shows us your target audience as being an adult audience. Also a small detail you forgot is the last line of your article by which you forgot to add punctuation. Overall, a good article with great journalism which has minor presentational details.
I agree with Cengi's very detailed comments above! I like the content of the article. You write well and have structured a clear argument, which is appropriate to the target audience. You have employed some techniques on InDesign such as a header, a stand first and columns. As you are aware, you would also benefit from having captions, some more colour and attention to detail like branding. Agreed that the structure is confusing and problematic. Overall a respectable first attempt at Desk Top Publishing. Vanessa
